Spiritual Direction

In addition to the healing work, we offer spiritual guidance and direction for others exploring their own healing or other spiritual gifts. My teaching style resembles more George Carlin and less guru. What I teach is about unlearning as the way to know more. My teaching takes one to levels of exploration and understandings that are beyond the limitations of language and is not for everyone.  It is for those who are willing to forget what they think they know and move into a deeper realization of self and universal relationship.
 
While we use familiar tools like the tarot, the methods used are not part of the modern spiritual dialogue but have been part of universal exploration since we first began seeking a way to understand what lies beyond ourselves. The expression of knowings are not an absolute and are shared with an understanding that our experience may not reveal anything resembling a universal truth but will bring you closer to your own.  You’ll be given tools and guidance for staying in that hearted truth while you move through life.
 
Questions are often answered with questions, knowing that you already have a wellspring of your own innate wisdom & magic that you’ve not yet tapped into but might have often felt. We do not discuss an ordered universe in terms of hierarchies & bureaucracies & levels attained through gradations.
 
There is an Arabic word ‘sohbet’. In the Sufi tradition, it is defined not just as ‘conversation’ but used to describe teaching as a spiritual transmission where dialogue is accompanied by a cleansing of the soul and meeting of the hearts. This is how we work: in relationship with the divine.
 
This is not life-coaching or traditional therapy but this work is trauma-informed and we use my background as a mental health therapist, shaman, and seer to help process experiences, and bring new awareness into real-world practice. Together, we bring inner states to practical daily living--with Grace and unity.

Spiritual direction is, for most, a journey of four weeks together. We'll discuss what your needs are and those will determine the cost. Readings

Readings are where artistry, vulnerability and inspiration meet curiosity and the depth of the heart.

Cards are direct communicators in their own right. They weave beauty and healing with visual cues that create a path forward that we often cannot see on our own. They cut, often deeply & quickly, through the clutter of mind, spirit and pain.They are not ambiguous when it comes to truths that need to be seen and matters of the heart that need to be released to be realized. .

The cards, like other tools I may use in a reading, open the way to explore how aspects of ourselves and the world within us interact with the world outside us. These readings are often intense, powerful communications with universal energies. They not likely to confirm for you what you think you know or to say what you want to hear. They are more likely to push you to examine why it is you are not acting on what you already know deep within yourself.
 
They often offer a road map to guide you through the haze and confusion of change. In the time we’re together, your fears will be confronted and allayed. You will be shown the place where what you think you know intersects with a future you cannot quite see or, perhaps, even imagine.
 
Ancestors and Others join us as I use cards, wings, water and bone.  Healing happens within these readings. Deep release creates room for growth and in this sacred space you are offered the opportunity to see differently.

 I pull as the cards direct often using more than one deck; sometimes using templates you may be accustomed to but mostly not.There is no room for bypassing what is revealed but they invite creative solutions for challenges that one faces when being revealed to oneself.

Readings are conducted in person or by video. This can be deep work and sessions often include you entering a spontaneous altered state so they are scheduled only after discussion and mutual agreement. Readings are two hours long and $185. Email me below to schedule a reading.
