Boreal is my expression of the sunsets here in the San Juan mountains of Colorado. Alpenglow and reflections of sinking light on the clouds as they move across the mesas are a gold-pink that bridge the treeline and darkening heavens. I get to watch it every day from the kitchen sink and am awed each evening by the beauty before me.
